Growing Watermelon from Seed with a Few Bonus Tips

Watermelon is a long-season warm-weather crop that requires space and a good water supply. You will need at least three months of temperatures between 70-90 degrees during which the watermelon can develop and ripen. So depending on where you live, you can still start watermelons at any point when you will still be able to provide these conditions. In the north, they should be started as soon as the soil has warmed up.
